Meet our Founder, Kate Maddison-Greenwell
Most transformation consultants will hand you a plan. A framework. A slide deck.
What they won't do is stay in the room when it gets complicated.
I'm Kate Maddison-Greenwell, founder of People Efficient. I've spent 26 years as a senior leader inside complex organisations, not advising from the outside.
I've sat in the restructure meetings. I've been the person telling the middle manager their team is changing. I've built the org design, rewritten the operating model, and held the room when the plan met reality.
That experience is what I bring to every engagement. Not a methodology. Not a framework. The judgement that comes from having done this, at senior level, for a long time.
WHAT I DO: I work with leadership teams on transformation, restructure and change. Organisation design. Operating model redesign. Growth and downsizing, including TUPE. Interim HR Director and Transformation Director roles when organisations need senior leadership fast.
The work is always defined, always time-bound, and always delivered. Not a 200-page report at month six.

WHAT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE: I'm unusual in that I bring deep technical capability alongside the people expertise.
Automations that remove the manual work slowing your team down. Data models and Power BI dashboards that give leadership teams the workforce insight they've never had. AI tools embedded into processes so the change doesn't regress the moment I leave.
This matters in transformation because strategy without infrastructure doesn't hold. Organisations stall not because the thinking was wrong, but because the systems, the data and the processes weren't built to support the new way of working.
I close that gap. Faster, and more practically than a consultant who has to bring in a separate technical team to do it.
