Who we are

People Efficient Ltd ("People Efficient", "I", "we") is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 11872409, at Tarn House, 77 High Street, Yeadon, Leeds, West Yorkshire LS19 7SP, and registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under registration number 00015359492. What we collect and why

If you use the contact form, we collect your name, organisation, email address, telephone number (if you give it), the topic you choose and anything you write in your message. We use this only to reply to your enquiry and, if you go on to work with us, to manage that relationship. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.

If you download a free resource, we collect your name, work email address and organisation, and record which resource you downloaded. We use this to give you the resource and to understand which resources are useful; our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in providing the resource you asked for. We will only send you marketing emails, such as insights and new resources, if you tick the box to agree. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing kmg@peopleefficient.co.uk or using the unsubscribe link in any email.

If you email or phone us directly, we use the details you give us in the same way.

Who processes your data

This website is hosted by Netlify, which also receives and stores contact and download form submissions on our behalf. Netlify may process data outside the UK; where it does, it relies on recognised safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. Fonts on this site are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser shares your IP address with Google when a page loads. We do not sell or share your personal data with anyone else for marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and download details for up to two years from our last contact with you (or until you withdraw marketing consent, if sooner), unless you become a client, in which case we keep records for as long as needed for the work and our legal and accounting obligations.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and does not track you across other sites.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it or stop using it. To do any of these, email kmg@peopleefficient.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
